    I could do with some new music, anyone hit on any good albums recently? If they help with speed/endurace/recovery and are made of carbon or are listened to by profesional triathletes all the better :p

    Don't use one, can't use it in a race so don't use it to train:)

    You gave a good call on These Hopeful Machines by BT a few years back Quez. Keep your eyes peeled (downloaded illegally) for a cover version of that album called These Re-Imagined Machines which has cuts from the "superstar djs", slightly more up tempo than the original. Great running music!

    Nah, not really. ;)

    I don't really have playlists anymore. Some good turbo choons would be helpful, most of my music isn't uptempo enough for sessions.

    I'm not sold on dumping music for all training... I really enjoy some training with no music, on other days it can make a run I've done 100 times totally new and revive it from something thats become boring. I never thought I'd survive races without it, I wonder if I'd use it in a big city run where they're (sometimes?) allowed.

    Been listening to DeadMau5 and Paul Oakenfold - Goa (I think someone on here recommended that in an earlier thread!)

    Just aquiring re-imagined machines so I'll have a listen to that on the turbo tomorrow!

    Had my LSR to the new Swedish House Mafia album Until Now. A lot of similar stuff from their first album but still very catchy and I felt no inclination to stab anyone to boot.

    Verdict = Recommended

    I'm thinking of downloading a few speech based podcasts for my LSR over the next while and see how it goes with them. Music doesn't do it for me !

    Or listen to the sound of nature. Have not ran with music in years now, could not go back.

    A mix of Joe Duffy Liveline podcasts and 80s soft-rock anthems for me.
