USB stick specs?

Can anyone tell me what kind of transfer speed I need to record stuff from my Ariva 120?
I'm thinking of buying a USB memory stick for occasional recordings - I don't use the facility at all now, and can't see that I would use it much in the future.
So what kind of spec should I be looking for - capacity / speed etc?

I tried it with a 2GB stick I have, but it usually says insufficient space, or some such message.

    Thanks,
    Jane

I bought one of these some months ago and haven't had any problems with it. It has good read/write speeds and 32 gigs can store a lot of programs.
