The Wright Venue is a decent club I have to say. Probably as close as we get to the likes of MOS or Ibiza superclubs. Dance floor isn't huge however.

Haven't been to it myself, but i've seen a lot of negative comments about the door staff, on their facebook page.

With respect to the genuine people that live near and go to the Wright Venue, it is abit of a scum magnet given its location. It has the same problem that Burn / Tribe had in Stillorgan, its the only venue there so people go there to go to that exact venue (Unlike town where you have a choice) So anyone turned away leads to fights and a bad rep to the club.

I wouldn't like to go up to it though, just to be turned away for no good reason, and then have to get a taxi into town. I see your point about scum etc, but i've seen people from other counties give negative comments on their page. Seemed like the door staff just were just being cúnts (for want of a better word) according to their remarks. I actually felt a bit sorry for those who were turned away,as they had come up from where ever to see a specific act, tickets in hand etc, only to be turned away.
