Changing a Ryanair flight

We have some Ryanair flights booked for end of next week but it's looking likely we won't be able to go, I know I can't get a refund but it looks like I can change the booking, but it's not clear if I can completely change it, ie a different departure airport, a different destination and a different date or if I am only able to adjust the departure times/dates but have to stick to original destinations. Does that make sense? Has anyone ever done this?

its more often than not cheaper to rebook new flights than to change them.. I think they charge an admin fee of 50 per person per change AFAIR

My thinking was we've paid for our flights next week anyways so that money is gone and if we could change to something for after Christmas at least we'd get something, but I suppose yeh, taking an admin fee into account it might not be worth it, might just write the flights off altogether, unless I can find really really ultra cheapo cheap flights to change to, so the admin fee wouldn't make us lose out!

Do a quick dummy booking and see how much the flights will be if you re-book them for a time when you can go. Then go to manage my booking with your original booking and enter the changes. You will then see how much they want to charge you to change the details. Click out of this before you actually make the changes.

Then you can make your decision as you will have the price of newly booked flight and the price of the changes. See which is cheaper and decide which way you want to go.
