Hi! My names Jason and I'm a photographer studying in Maynooth. Just wondering if there's anyone else around also interested in it? Kinda getting me down not having any peers around me!

I have an interest! you may want to look towards setting up a society im sure there are plenty of people around who would be very interested in joining

I thought of it but I'm not too sure if I'd have the time to keep it going. I might just create a fb group and add people to it. Do you know anybody else? Send me you're fb details if you don't mind.

Playdo, the arts, crafts and photography society, might be a good place to start looking for photographers.

I'm kind of looking for more advanced photographers to meet with and discuss/critique work. From what I understand the playdough society caters more for beginners? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well yes, they do this 'Light Graffiti' thing once or twice a year
and it's a bit of craic, but not really anything fancy.

funny u should mention this, was talking to the vise-president of playdo about this the other day, i think the plan for them is to form a sub-committee that might turn in to a society in the further, so it would be good for beginners and people more experienced, id give them a email, at the very lest they'll no more people who want to get involved
