Car Valet - Recommendation

    Hi All,

I'm looking to get my car cleaned. Mainly the interior needs a cleaning.
Not looking to break the bank - thinking about the €50-80 mark. Also, as I'm at work during the day, it would need to be in the evening time (6pm -).
Can anyone recommend a premises or a mobile valet service?

Living in the Dundrum/Ballinteer area. Any recomendations?

    Would be appreciated.

    Thanks

There's that old filling station place opposite the mosque in Clonskeagh that is open 24hours a day and seem to be always busy?

This chap is excellent and very thorough, his name is Bodgan and he'll bring his van to you - doesn't even need water or a plug. I've got him to do my car twice and all smells / stains were gone. Uses steam as well so seats and carpets are dry in no time at all.

Their not great. Got a few scratch marks on my car from what must have been a small stone caught in their sponge. Used them 2 or 3 times previously and always noticed bits they'd missed etc.

    Yep, will do.
Couldn't see a number for him on adverts so I sent him a PM. Awaiting reply.
Need to get it done this week so if he can't/doesn't get back to me, I'll prob try the place in Clonskeagh (despite poor feedback).
    So hopefully he does...

Hey a guy who works with me does it in the evening. Think he charges 40 for the whole car inside and out. If you want pm me your details and I'll get him to contact you.

Thanks for that, never had a job done there just assumed it was half-decent as it's always open and busy.

The car he shows in that ad is pretty manky to be fair!

I do a better job cleaning it myself

I'd agree as I always keep my car clean but when I got my last Passat steam cleaned, it was a very noticeable difference with the smell and look of the seats and I had no stains at all - just need a good refreshing. That's why I got him to do it twice (outside the second time before selling it). Spent 4 hours on the car for €80 doing my seats, carpets, AC, body, wheels, engine bay and interior polish.
