    Hi,

I have a 10gb data allowance with eMobile. And my bills are roughly €15 a month. To my shock, I got this months bill and its €384!!! ( I recently got Netflix and my young son was watching it away and obviously clocked up the data without me knowing!) my question is, should eMobile of stopping the account after it went past the data allowance unless I give premission ( I know 3mobile does this )
I think I heard some law stating this?
Can anyone help me out on this before I ring them!

Since July you should have had a 'cap' feature.

Cheers thanks, I heard about that, but I think that cap only applies to roaming?

Are you sure you def went over?? I've just checked my usage and it said I used 6gb of my 15gb allowance in 10days.

Which is quite impossible for me I'm always connected to wifi at home and work so it would only if i'm out and around on 3g.

Checked the data usage on the emobile website and my total data usage for the 10days was approx. 560,000kb. which amounts to 0.53gb.

Have no idea where they got the 6gb usage from. maybe double check your total data usage

Don't have to double check as they billed me in all! Nearly €400!
