    Hello,
I'm doing with group an assignment for my college and we had to choose a product that we could bring to Irish breakfast market. We need to do a primary research and ask if people would buy it. We have chosen a vegetable sausage. Which is suitable for vegetarian people and who looks after their health. Could you please answer to this and tell me if you would buy it or not. I would really appreciate this.

    Cost?
    Flavour?
    Ingredients?

There's loads of veggie sausages on the market, some good, some bad, how would you convince vegetarians to buy yours?

If it is made up of mushy vegetables. No.
I wouldn't be particularly drawn to other vegetarian sausages.
If i was given a sample and they were tasty. I'd be more inclined to by them.

I think boxty would be a great option for an Irish breakfast market.

Yes I would, here places rarely have a veggie sausages in their veggie breakfast whereas in britain they often do and it's great.

It would cost around €3.30 for packet of 4 sausages. The ingredients would be carrot, onion, broccoli, potato, mediterranean spices, salt and sweet red pepper.

so mushy vegetables in the shape of a sausage? No thanks. I think Birds Eye or Findus do a range of reshaped vegetables already. I don't buy them.

Are there any vegetarians actually involved in this "project" or are you just assuming if it doesn't contain meat it's good enough? It seems that way.

I don't think many people will want that tbh, or certainly not vegetarians in particular. I wouldn't mind a bean burger...in the form of a sausage!

Actually I've had something like that in a veggie breakfast in the UK and it was delicious. But I certainly wouldn't pay €3.30 for for 4.

That's very pricey compared to other veggie sausages. Your biggest competitors would be Quorn and Linda McCartney veggie sausages, I'd suggest you have a look at them and see how your product compares.

Well I paid that price for 8 vegideli sausages today, which are amazing. They would need to be a lot more competitive on pricing. Their ingredients are cheap

    Here Here!

Bean burgers are amazing whereas that birdseye shredded veg in a coating type burger or the old traditional veggie style burger is muck.

Bean sausages are the future, NOM NOM!

or how about some awesome street meat styled veg, like awesome veggie hotdogs.

Yeah nobody does a reasonably priced hot dog since tesco stopped em years ago.

We need to do a primary research and ask if people would buy it. The sausages are suitable for vegetarian people and who looks after their health. They are chopped. The flavor would be mixed of organic vegetable and middle est spices and it is these sausages would be homemade. Could you please answer to this and tell me if you would buy it for €3.30 Euros for a packet of 8 sausages or not. I would really appreciate this.

What do you think about the price and the amount of sausages in the packet is it reasonable for everybody?
With what would you like to eat the sausage: With bread or without bread?

I would love to try them without bread for me, the price is reasonable and i loved the fact that they are home made and with Mediterranean spices i love middle east flavor, where are you going to sell them?:)

I had never tried but i would like to try this and if I would like it I would defiantly buy more. The price is fair I think as its homemade and organic. I think i would try with bread.

    haha nice try!

I wouldnt buy the sausages anyway, vegetarians who eat veggie friendly sausages usually seek a meat replacement or are looking for that meaty flavour, personally I don't really like meat tasting things and the only veggie sausages I like are the vegi-deli ones. I like my vegetables as vegetables thanks.
