I am very confused as from where and which flying school to start my PPL training with?? I have a full-time job but with a good few days off and i want to do both..
I am thinking of trying NFC?! But i am open to any suggestions!

PS: Its the winter a better season to fly in Ireland?

Depends on what you want to do. Most people will tell you that joining a club is best but the downside is that the Instructors are voluntary and only available when they're available. Flying school instructors are available all the time. But at weekends it's always busy because that's when everyone wants to fly. If you are available mid week you will have a better chance.

As for flying in Winter. It may not be better but it's entirely possible. I know of one individual who learned to fly one Winter in Ireland. But he worked hard at it. Lot's of crisp clear frosty mornings. You will freeze during the pre flight. Winter is not good for heading off on cross country flights, what with the short days and variable weather. But for students who don't stray far from the airfield it's fine. The biggest problem for student pilots is wind. That's the biggest weather problem for student pilots.

If you're flying on weekdays book a couple of lessons a day. It helps with progress.

The NFC is fine. Once you get settled with an Instructor you can work with. You'll make progress.

Well that's rather a vital bit of information. You mention the NFC and your location shows Dublin? The impression I got was that you were living here looking to do just a PPL. So why would you want to do it here if you live elsewhere? Are you looking to get a professional licence?

Logically then where do you live, Spain? If so it would make sense to do it there. A lot better weather. You would certainly progress faster. Travelling to Dublin for a few days makes no sense in Winter. You could be wasting your time.

I'm guessing you are something in the airline business?

I'm doing my PPL in Flightwise in Weston, very happy with them & my instructor. :)
