Have you received your extra €300 from the BTEA?

I have been aware of the extra €300 or so the BTEA give to customers for book expenses etc, and that it was due late October early November. Have many of you that have had your BTEA approved also received the extra €300?

Some people in my class have received the extra €300, some have not. Personally my regular BTEA payment has been coming through around a month, but I have still not received my extra €300 despite one of my friends getting in last week.

It depends on your local social welfare office when you get paid

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Do you mean it depends on the day of the week I get paid, or more generally that they all pay out the €300 at different times?

I am in Dundalk and still waiting on it. I am doing an arts degree and since we started back last month I am out about €400 with having to buy supplies. I wish they would get their finger out
