A bit expensive for a stock clearance deal. Only a 2nd Core i5, no dedicated graphics.

    There's a 17.3" Tosh with a 3rd gen Core i5 & HD 7670M graphics for €650 at LD. Much better deal.

Firstly, thanks a million for taking the time to reply.
Cant get a handle on all the variations of even toshiba laptops. Whats the build quality of the Lenovo like. Ive never seen one of these. With 4 kids in the house the machine will need to be of sturdy stuff. Itll never be leaving the house so im not concerned with the weight. Just want something that wont break at the first fall.
Is 4gb of ram good enough to run a few applications and web browsing at the same time?
    Thanks again :D

Lenovo has a pretty good reputation regarding build quality.

In this case, you may want a Lenovo ThinkPad T series laptop... built like a bloody tank! ;)

And they certainly don't come cheap.

4 GB is OK for the basic stuff, however, nothing is easier to upgrade than memory. With the processor and graphics you'll be stuck forever. An 8 GB kit (2x4 GB) costs ~ €35.
