    /Hi guys,

I've posted here recently about people being interested in setting up a cars and coffee day for American car enthusiasts.

Basically I have set up a car meet in Limerick, on the Ballysimon Road, the City East Plaza on the bank holiday Monday 29/10/2012.

Please send the word around and anyone that would like to come or needs any info or directions you can reply or pm me.

Going to be a fun day out had by all.

Out of interest and acknowledging that Boards does indeed have some resident "muscle car" fanatics, have you perhaps considered joining a dedicated American car forum for like minded peoples?

There are already at least two C & C meets in Limerick each month and neither have massive turn outs at them.

Do you really want to start another?

Why not just turn up to one (or both) of these and meet with some other petrol heads.

I didn't know there was. Do you know who organises them? When and where they are on? Ect? I go to one every year near the mini golf in castletroy and it had a good turnout last year.

    IFS Cars and Coffee.

Next meet is Sunday November 4th usual place; The East Plaza, Tipperary Road Roundabout, 11am to 1pm, Remember every first Sunday of the month for ever!

    Bring what you got -

The October meet for the first time had a brand new car- the new Beetle and it was very well received by the petrolhead community so VW definitely got it right with this one. A few pseudo-nazi graphics on it provided a bit of fun (see pics).

We had two new Ferrari visitors; a 360 Spider from Portlaoise and a 308 GTS from Limerick.

In view of the amount of Italian cars we have had we're going to make the next meeting in November a special Italian Car and Bike Day. We'll follow that up with an American Car Day and so on in the future. That doesnt exclude everything else by the way!.So all Italian car and bike cognesenti - please spread the word to all your mates and clubs!

If you want to sell stuff bring it along to where true car enthusiasts hang out.

Details of all of the C & C meets throughout Ireland (except the Festival of Speed one) are always posted on the Irish section of the forum on PistonHeads and also on FaceBook.

    http://pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&f=151&mid=65110

Octane rules don't permit the organising of meets via there but links will always be posted on there for info.
