    Hi All

I searched through a good few threads here but they all end up getting a bit more advanced than I need. I am trying to set up my parents house with free UK channels and free Irish channels. They have three OLDish CRT tvs. They will pop their clogs if they don't have teletext on at least the RTE channels.

Can someone please recommend a combo box that will show all channels and support teletext? No recording required.
I need a sat dish for UK channels. Ok.
I need an ariel for Saorview. Ok?
Do I need some kind of quad splitter or something for the sat dish to support three tvs? Someone mentioned that to me and my head started going all Linda Blair.

    Help

The Triax and Walker here are both Saorview approved combi receivers and so will do teletext (on the Irish channels) - http://www.tvtrade.ie/saorview-digital-television/digital-satellite-combo.html, I think the Triax places all the channels in one list ( I don't have one so can't confirm)

A quad lnb (on the end of the dish arm) can feed 4 separate satellite receivers.

No, you need an aerial, washing powder won't work.

The combi receiver in the picture isn't Saorview approved so no teletext. Do you plan to install it youreslf?

I wont be installing the system. Someone with a clue will do that work. Not stressed about being ready for the actual cut off date as they are with upc at the moment. I thought the package deal (link in previous post) looked convenient but I do need teletext.

In that case let the installer supply the parts required for the install and you supply the receiver(s).
