Just wondering is there anywhere else in the country that has a decent selection of snowboard boots besides snow + rock? Does any of them including snow + rock do heat moulding?

I now Tkmaxx have the odd gem but i really want a pair of proper fitting boots, my last holiday was torture with rental ones.

The Great Outdoors just by the Jervis Luas stop sell them I think, it's been a while since I've been there. Doubt they do heat moulding.
95% sure Snow + Rock do

By heat moulding do you mean the inner liner heat mould that they basically put a hair-dryer like tool into the boot for 5 mins, then you put the boots on and lace up and leave to set for a bit? If thats what you mean, yeah, Snow&rock do it and Great Outdoors off grafton st did it for me too.

Snow and Rock have a good selection, so do Great Outdoors. The shops in resorts will have good selections too. I found great outdoors really helpful and there are two or three guys in there who really know their stuff (haven't been in there this season but Ciaran and Eoin in there were both a fountain of knowledge).

Best advice is to go to all the shops you can find with boots and try loads of them on, boot fit is really important. You can ride boards that are a bit too small/too big. You can get away with bad bindings, but a perfect fitting boot is the holy grail. Make sure you either know what you are looking for when trying on boots or get a knowledgeable sales assistant to make sure the boots fit properly.
