a few places now claim to have them in stock.

Pity they have dumped the facility for the remote to control other devices, apart from that it looks good.

Looks like the interface is a bit laggy also, which is disappointing. I have the Foxsat HDR, and its painful to use, I was really looking forward to upgrade to something with a nice snappy interface. Looks like Ill have to wait for other manufacturers.

Would also be interested to know if anyone gets the on demand features working using a smart DNS service.

I received the new Humax Freetime on Tuesday, so I've had 48hrs of playing with it. I dont know where you heard the interface was laggy, because I think its superd. The graphics on the EPG, Showcase, ON Demand etc are stunning. The response time shifting between the various menus, epg etc is very fast. Having the channel logos on the epg is a lovely touch. I do agree with you that the Foxsat was not very user friendly at all, but the freetime completely changes all that, for instance there is a button on the remote that takes you straight to your recordings.I am still finding my way around this superd piece of kit, so still more to explore on it. By the way, the harddrive in my Foxsat blew up, three weeks ago after four years of use. Good timing as my brother got the Freetime in London for me and shipped it over, £25 for delivery in four days, not bad.
