Oregano Plants Help

    Hi

I have two oregano plants together in the same pot, which I planted in the spring. New growth is appearing at the bottom of the plants although the tops look a bit unwell. I suppose it's due to the bad weather we've had.

I want to prune the plants down and re-pot into a bigger pot. Should I do this now, or am I better off waiting until the spring?

Also -How hardy are they? Should I bring them indoors or wrap a carrier bag with some small holes in the top to protect from frost?

    TIA for any help! :)
