Just reading the post on Lar Corbetts new book and said I would bring up this new one that is out in November. I am really looking forward to it as it tells the story of your junior hurling club..
We started a junior hurling team in 2008, in a former hurling barren waist land, North Co Dublin, most of the lads had never played before, we attached our selves to the Wild Geese GAA club, a one team only club.
And this is the story of the first five seasons...the ups and downs....no one has ever had a book published nationwide like it.

Hurling is a national treasure yet only 13 county's play for the Liam McCarthy. This story shows that its never to late to start and that this is an opportunity for many clubs in none hurling heart lands: Aidan Lenihan
