I have just got the update from O2 for Jellybean, however I use my phone an awful lot for watching flash sites, and this isn't supported officially by Jellybean.

Is there anything I should do before I update, like save the apk file for flash or something???

Any help would be appreciated, anything I've found so far is vague!

    thanks

Ha ha - not quite, sports actually, used extensively over the weekend just gone, its one of the great advantages (among many) of this phone over the iphone!

have just installed the JB update and alas, the streaming sites still work on the stock browser. Have no idea how, as I'm sure its flash they use, but how and ever, great news!!

Adobe Flash isn't included with stock Jelly Bean. However afaik the phone manufacturer can work with Adobe to have Flash working on their phones, so I guess Samsung in its wisdom decided it's worth keeping Flash available. Fair play to Samsung if that's the case.

The article linked says 'However, Some Galaxy S3 users are confused if they gonna lose their Adobe Flash player after Upgrading from ICS 4.0.4 to Jelly Bean 4.1'. The only thing i'm confused about is how i can lose something i didnt have in the first place?

Does anyone know when jelly bean for meteor will be released? I hope it will be tomorrow but I doubt it. Will it get released at midnight or at a random point during the day?

Does anyone know how to set up the email, so that the Galaxy III will check for new email every 5 mins. The new setting is confusing etc.

If you have your phone rooted get mybackup root in the market and back up all your apk's and data and then download it again when your on aokp and restore your apps.

You can even back-up pics and music with that app
