anyone got a view on this as I'm not certain whats going on. I have a tv with built in mpeg 5 and an internal amplified aerial which picks up saorview. Last week I decided to do a retune given line of sight to northern transmitters. Still only picked up saorview channels but tv suggests its picked up 36 signals somewhere on digital. Does this make sense. Would it suggests an outdoor aerial pointed north might bring in Freeview ?

Look in the 800s if you have your country set to Ireland then the tv will place foreign channels at end of EPG.

Thanks for both replies. Tuner is tuned into ireland but all I see is Saorview. Dont see anything else on epg . Where would I find 800s on tv, sorry for what might sound a stupid question

Flick up through your channels on your remote, beyond the radio channels in the 200s.

Alternatively key in 800, 801 etc.

There are 18 channels currently on Saorview (8 TV and 10 Radio) so it seems to me that you're picking up Saorview from two different transmitters, hence 36 channels.

What happens if you set your country to the UK?
