Malta - St Paul's area anyone been?

We are thinking of a girlie holiday thirties age group and saw a good package deal in the Il Qawra region St Pauls for a week. Few questions. What will weather be like March/April? Like a mix of culture, nightlife and good restaurants St Paul's might be a better choice is St Julian's quieter? Also would be be able to do…

We are thinking of a girlie holiday thirties age group and saw a good package deal in the Il Qawra region St Pauls for a week. Few questions. What will weather be like March/April? Like a mix of culture, nightlife and good restaurants St Paul's might be a better choice is St Julian's quieter? Also would be be able to do day trips to Valletta, and the other island where would you recommend for a few trips out of the resort. Heard transport isnt great so I guess it would be buses are they quite regular the timetables. And is it expensive in Malta sorry for all the questions just doing a bit of research beforehand.
