    Anyone know how to transfer your NUIM email to gmail/hotmail?

    The best way is to set up gmail to get your nuim emails over IMAP/POP3 and set it to send your replies back to nuim's mail server via IMAP/POP3

    The details of how to do that can be found here

    and the POP3 settings I'm using are:
    username; Student Number
    Password: Take a guess
    POP Server: mail.nuim.ie
    POP Server Port 110

    IMAP is imap.nuim.ie
    and is it asks for smtp its smtp.nuim.ie
