    Hi...
Heading to the big city in a few weekends for a much earned weekend away without the kids. Staying we think in the maldron Cardiff lane and we'd love to head out for two nice meals. Maybe Italian one night and something else the other...maybe Thai. We love somewhere with atmosphere but not loud if that makes sense! Most of all....nice food. Not too restricted budget wise once its fantastic!

If anyone can recommend anywhere...would appreciate it
    Xx

Carluccios on Dawson Street is quite nice. Its a chain, but has a nice menu.

Koh (Thai) in the Italian Quater is lovely. Its the other side of town, but handy by Luas.

I'd second Koh or there's a Thai down at talbot place but that end of town can be dodgey. Thai spice.

http://www.ilvicoletto.ie/ in Temple Bar is the best Italian in Dublin in my opinion. Its small and popular so you might want to try booking.
