You can usually find spaces outside Tyrconnell/Silverdale (last time I checked no disc required) by 6 pm. It's a cul de sac off Perrot Avenue- where the history dept is located- (road to Hayfield Manor) that runs alongside the car park.

The car park on Perrot avenue is only €2 after 6.30 for as long as you need. You just walk through the gates then to the college.

Plenty streets around college have free parking after 6.30pm. A good place would be high field road, next to daybreak.. I'm not sure about the streets around connacht Avenue, they may not be free unitl after 8.30pm..

Highfield Avenue is free from 6:30pm, but anytime after about 5, I'd be happy enough to chance leaving the car there without a disk. If you don't want to chance it, the shop in the student centre sells disks.
