Hypothetically how quickly could you buy an apartment. Let's say you win the lotto, find the ideal apartment how quickly could you go from viewing to living in it paying cash. No mortgage involved etc.

It would all depend on the vendor, but let's say no chain, vendor wants to sell ASAP, efficient solicitors on both sides. I'd say 3-4 weeks is the quickest you could get it done in.
