we want to convert our box room to an office/dressing room.

currently it is used for storage i.e. open the door fling things in and close the door really quickly.

we are not sure where to start, i am pretty sure we will have to move a rad, move sockets, light switches and replaster - i have all this trades people in place and ready to go but i need a design.

i have had a look at pinterest and Houzz but they are all for big houses not a small box room in a terraced house.

any designs or ideas would be really appreciated.

    IB

Ikea is around the corner from you,in Balymun.

Go in there and look through all the small house and apartment mock ups.

They do all sorts of office furniture (you can customize/mix n match to suit your needs and space) for small spaces,at good prices too.:)

    Nothing wrong with Ikea.

Grand Irish Breakfast with unlimited cups of tea for a fiver every morning (from 9:30am).:D

You do know that you can actually design and build your own office desk and furniture up there.

Was up there at lunchtime looking around.Got some good ideas for an office area in my own house.:)

Well I had a lovely breakfast and a lunch there this morning.

Lunch was a large plate of organic pasta and mushrom, slice of brown bread, cuppa tea,and a lemon iced cup cake for just under 5 euro.:)

Really?!!! Yay, I have been plotting this corner where the computer/tv lives for some time - main problem is the squillion wires and plugs. *Heads off to Ikea site*

Well as of today,we have a nice idea/plan in mind for building a nice office/study/PC desk and then incorperating a filling cabinet, bookcases and shelves to store all the horticultural, gardening and diy books and work documents.

Will also be very handy and a nice "homework/study" area too,for our little lady.:)
