Quickest & Easiest Trading Account Setup

    Hi,

    A friend is looking to purchase some shares fairly quickly and doesn't have a trading account setup. From what i've seen it takes about a week with most ptoviders to setup and fund the account.

    She won't be doing doing many trades either.

    Any idea what would be the best option to setup an account and get going fairly quickly and at a low cost?

    Also, can one simply call a broker these days to make a purchase or does one have to go through hoops with that as well?

    I could be wrong here but, sounds like she has some inside information on something.

    Be advised that insider trading is illegal.

    Well aware of that. No insider knowledge.
    Shares have dipped due to quarterly results announcement. But already on way up, so time to take advantage.
