I am running a home media server, and I want to be able to use internet channel on my wii to watch some of the movies on the server. I am told that the internet channel supports flash video, as youtube works on it, but after countless test efforts, I cant find a flash video player that lets me watch my .flv files on the Wii.

If anyone has the HTML, or a link to it, so that I can watch flash video from my server on my wii through a flash video player, I would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe this article can help you out? It seems to guide you through three different streaming methods, including Orb: URL="http://www.ehow.com/how_2256775_stream-media-pc-wii.html"]link![/URL

I'd recommend WiiMC as a more elegant solution, though. It's an excellent home-brew media player that can play video files from USB, YouTube, over your local network, DVDs, etc. It supports a wide range of different file-types and codes, automatic online updates are regularly provided for it, and you only need an SD card to use it. You need to soft-mod your Wii by installing the Homebrew Channel in order to launch it, but it's a pretty simple process which poses very little risk to your console if you follow the instructions carefully.
