How long does rice last

wanting to get into cooking from scratch more often, and I've heard that tthe Asian supermarkets are good value on big bags (eg 10kg) of rice. was wondering how fast you'd need to use it once opened, as it's only myself and wouldnt be using it every single day either.

until the best before date. I buy 20kg bags, rice can last a long time.

As long as it's stored somewhere cool and dry it will last a long time.
