I'm a photographer ,have regular car .. I sometimes tow a trailer as well

I'm looking to buy a land rover series 3 4x4 and I would to like know if there is any classic car insurance company that allows business use as well! (dont mind paying a bit extra premium)
From what I can find out online most classic car insurers prohibit using car for work!

From what I can find out online

There must be something out there that suits you needs. I think the information you are looking for may require the use of an old-fashioned telephone and a ring round some brokers.

Not everything is on the internet.;)

Try Carole Nash, they were supposed to be setting up a dedicated classic department. No classic car policy will cover you for work use and won't cover a trailer either. Policies here are third party only as well.

Suspect you'll have to get a standard commercial policy, insurers here can't cope with anything different so you may struggle

You'd have no problem in the UK, look in any of the comics and there's several pages of insurers offering dedicated 4x4 policies

I used to insure my 101 on a military vehicle policy in the UK fully comp for around £90 a year, now I pay €160ish for just third party here

thanks for that..I suspected as much!
will try carole Nash... pity I had seen a uk advert offering business use so thought it may be available.

is there any objection to me putting advertising on the vehicle!

Driving a classic car for work is fine if you tax and insure it as a normal vehicle. The reason we have classic tax and classic insurance with limited miles is so that these vehicles are only used for pleasure.

As classic cars are defined by status and not usage, I don't see how vin/vet tax could be an issue.
