laptop warranty, cant be fixed

    Hi,


    my laptop is currently in for repair. If they cannot fix the problem it has what options do i have?

    Do they give me money or whats the story ?

    I think we need more information. I fix dozens of laptops and computers. I do not give money to people who's devices I cannot repair. So I assume that you have returned the laptop as faulty to a computer shop that you bought it from. What was the problem? More than likely, they will offer you a replacement laptop if the deem that the machine is faulty due to a defect in the manufacturing. They may also repair the laptop if there is a problem with the windows installation. It's quite common for a brand new computer to fail because of all the updates that microsoft have put out since it was built. It's highly unlikely that you will get a cash refund unless you feel the shop are messing you around and taking too long about getting you up and running again.
