My sister tuned in her saorview box this morning. She thinks her signal is from Maghera. (She lives in Co Clare) Perfect reception. However this evening her picture is pixelated. Her ariel is an old set of 'bunny ears'. Any ideas or suggestions????

Thanks for that Paddy. My sister is on Disability, her Landlord won't install a roof aerial and I am trying to find a cheap option that works !!!! This morning the 'bunny ears' did work and this evening they won't. I was hoping for some ideas as to why that is the case.

if your getting uhf reception on a vhf rabbit ears type of aerial, im sure if you got a suitable uhf aerial it will work fine in the attic. you could try an indoor UHF aerial too as well (Not telescopic rabbit ears) Watty provided a picture of one somewhere here.

I've used an indoor uhf aerial like the 1st one posted in that link (1st on left) worked very well.
