Saorview TVs with DVB-T2

As a resource for anyone looking for Saorview approved TVs which also claim to do DVB-T2, I got the following list by working backwards from the current (October 2012) Saorview Approved Products page.

DVB-T2 is a minimum requirement to pick up Freeview HD from transmitters in Northern Ireland or the UK. Whereas having DVB-T2 in the TV specifications does not guarantee that the TV is actually 'Freeview HD' certified, it is a requirement and is therefore a good starting point. Unlike Saorview, Freeview do not maintain an updated public list of approved products as far as I am aware.

Before buying, it is important to check specifications of a particular TV yourself. If you are buying in a shop, the 'Freeview HD' logo should appear on the packaging.

Be aware that, as with set top boxes, equipment which may work perfectly with Saorview or with Freeview HD separately, may have problems when working with both services at the same time. It is always a good idea to search this forum to see if anyone has any experience with a particular model. Also, feel free to post your own experiences for the benefit of others.

The list includes models from LG, Samsung and Sony.
