Event guides for the city

Hi All,

I wonder what people think is the best event guide for goings on in the city...

As far as I am aware, there are a lot of different websites, publications etc. But i wouldnt say any of them are comprehensive.

I always thought the best one was eventguide.ie but this seems to have closed down

ticketmaster for major things.

There is a particularly good one if you are looking for something slightly different in the city. More alternative stuff. its my favourite.

It would be great if there was one big site that pulled together all these types of listings. there is so much going on in Dublin all the time, but for the most part people dont know about the majority of it!

Another one yes! But again, its pretty basic with what it has. Certainly not comprehensive. Whatsonin.ie is another one. But same issue too. Dublinpubscene was good, but it closed years back sadly.


There has to be a gap for a comprehensive listing guide. If you flickthrough any of the links above, they almost all give you different listings! All of which are correct but you have to put them all together to get an overview of whats going on. Thats my point really.
