Structured CPD hours

    Anyone know exactly what is defined as structured CPD ?

    Obviously trying to keep the cost down of doing my 20 hours of CPD for the year. I see there's 6 hours of free CPD on the Tax Institute website so I'll be down to 14 hours.

    Friend told me that say going over tax manuals on Tax Find should also count towards structured CPD hours ? Is this actually the case ? If true, why would anyone both actually paying for CPD courses ?
