    Hi all,

    What are the hyundai trajet 2litre diesel like, are they reliable,
    Guy is selling 2005 one at a good price and says they are every bit as good as a galaxy or sharan tdi but no so sure...

    In fairness what would you expect him to say? :pac:

    I don't really know much about them tbh. I know a taxi driver who has one and he has put about 6 gearboxes into it but that might be just his driving...

    harder on diesel than the galaxy tdi too i hear,

    Galaxy is a better all rounder and the 1.9 tdi is a lot more robust than the Hyundai engine which is common rail and not that good.

    I looked into this and went onto a Trajet forum their advice was get a automatic as the manuals are rubbish with many posting its common to have the manual box repaired/replaced many times.
