Phone won't recognize sim card. HTC Desire - MildWild 4.3

    I'd appreciate some help folks... my unlocked HTC Desire won't recognize any sim.

    When I go to Network settings it has a choice of Meteor, Tesco and O2. I'm using a Tesco sim so I chose Tesco. Then after a long time waiting it says "Unable to register to network."

    I've reinstalled the ROM...

    Tried a Meteor simcard, same thing.

    Phone is unlocked by the way.

    I'm not sure what other info I can share. My Hboot is 6.93.1002, Radio is 5.11.05.27

    Could it be a radio issue? There are a few newer Desire radios listed on Xda...
