Hey just wondering if i could get some advise on the design of a stairs i will be fabricating for my own workshop.
What is the best angle/slope to run the stairs at?
What is the best tread width and riser height to work with?
I was going to make the treads out of chequer plate steel with channel iron as the frame to the sides and a steel hand rail. Just making sure this will be to the correct spec in angle and tread depth.

Are you limited at all for space?

No real limitiation in space will be putting in a landing half way up and turning it 90deg. Will be using it to store hand tools and consumables from workshop so there will be a fair ammont of stuff being carried up and down the stairs just want to design it in the best way possible to prevent falls/injury.....
