Anyone use sky sports event centre to watch any of the HEC games last week. Seems like it could be a very interesting add on while watching a match. They also have full replays of all their covered games

Never even heard of it, what is it?

Is this one of those fancy-dan "press the red button" affairs that those of us on UPC can't get?

It's meant to let you watch game while giving up to date stats and also the option to pause and rewind live games. I only got a small chance to look at it yesterday while watching a replay and it seemed pretty good (actually the streaming I thought was of better quality then sky go)

It does look very good, and for anyone with sky sports who can't get to one of their registered sky go devices or a tv it allows them to watch all the games live, or repeated from any computer so its a very very welcome feature.

I experienced same blank green screen issues with it last weekend but hopefully those will have been resolved.

The laptop will be on simultaneously on Saturday so. That looks class.

No you have to have a sky login to use it.

Have looked at it for the past two HC weekends and the quality of the live and higlights playback is rubbish. I regularly watch live programmes on my laptop from rteplayer and find the quality much sharper

Really? I found the picture to be excellent.

Have to say that I too experienced some of the green screen video quality issues, and I'm on pretty darn good UPC broadband..

video format appears to be different/lower quality than the regular sky go (which is excellent), but if they sorted that out, its killer.

I had no problem with the picture anyway. I had the Connacht and Northampton matches on it while watching Clermont and Ulster and the picture was just as good as on the tv.
