4.5 Month Old Puppy

I have a question about my 4.5 month old puppy! All of sudden he attempts to aggressively scratch at his nose/snout area. He rubs it with paws and against the ground. I'm not sure if he is in pain because he groans a lot when doing this :( It happens a few times at any stage throughout day after food and walks, etc.

He's been fully vaccinated, wormed and flea-ed to date. He was at the vet last week for general check up and she said she's very healthy.

Is this normal for a puppy? Hate to think of him in pain/uncomfortable :(

Was he doing this when he was in for his check up? If not then take him back to the vet

Ring the vet/take him into the vet.

That's an odd one. Maybe its something with his sinuses? Poor lil mite. I thumbs up the vet as well

Definitely bring him to the vet. Could be something stuck up his nose, wedged in a tooth, wedged across the roof of his mouth, but one thing's for sure... Your pup is not doing this for nothing. I'd consider a trip to the vet to be urgent in this case.

My dog did this before, there was a piece of a stick lodged across the roof of her mouth, I thought she was choking! Definately check it out asap because if it is something stuck somewhere infection could set in quickly.

    Definitely not normal

+1 for something stuck or irritated in mouth or nose

    Vet immediately!
