    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone out there with American muscle cars would be interested in organising a meet up somewhere in Ireland to show off our beauties.

I myself have a 1978 Pontiac Trans am.

If anyone has any interest they can let me know, I think it would be a good fun day out for all.

There're three other muscle cars that usually turn up to meets. Another Firebird, a Camerro and a Challenger(I think) so you may be in luck.

The lad with the Trans Am is trying to sell it though.

I would love to own one of these. A nice Roadrunner, or similar. Meep-Meep!...

Too bad I get ****all money from work.

I think I'd have to go for Plymoth Baracuda. They don't get nearly enough love. And they look sweeeet!

And yeah, I share the money issues.

    Hmmm

Take the train to work during the week, and the vintage tax/insurance just might offest the cost of petrol to let it be a daily-driver.

Especially since there's little to no emissions ****e bolted on to the older engines. Not until the mid seventies or so. Wonder wha the MPG actually is...

The cousin has a '73 Vette. When you put the foot down, you can see the fuel gauge dropping. And that's not an exaggeration.

That's be a good plan, just need to find a job first. Hahaha
I'd say the fuel consumption is a joke alright, big block V8 fun. :D
I'd definitely be throwing a super charger at it too, oh the fun.

There is quite a good Muscle car sceen in Ireland.. there are a few clubs about depending on which part of the country your in.. most are on the web or FB.. a good few cars used to turn up to the Coffee & Cars meet in Dublin too on a fairly regular basis

I used to turn up to a few meets with the Challenger.. but she's gone from Ireland now.. she's scheduled to land here in Melbourne in two weeks

These are the last pics of the old girl on Irish soil before I had her shipped

The SixPack Carb setup on the Challenger used to give me 7-8MPG on the motorway :D but it was so worth it for the SPG (smiles per gallon)
