Will we ever have a decade like the 80s again?
It just seemed that life was much better then - great music, good hair styles, great movies, good tv shows,
the 1990s and 2000s an anticlimax

Will we ever get the 80s back?

I think it was still going on in Chile until recently. Those fellas managed to stay down there for ages. Fair play to them.

The only regret I have about the 80s is that I wasn't 10 years older in the early half of the decade:(. I love the music, the style, the big hair, and really wish I had been old enough to go out to clubs etc.

How could we forget shoulderpads? Probably needed to support the big hair!!

    And slowsets ?

Movies were better, more originality than what's on the big screen now...which are mostly remakes and comic book stuff.

    Music was better.

    Fashion was crap, seriously crap.

I know what you mean. I used to watch my older brother heading out on a Fri or Sat nite all dressed up...I still recall his 'cowboy-style boots' and 'silver Miami Vice suit' periods! :D

Nowadays I have a 'hankering' for 80's cars! ....particularly a nice Opel Manta coupe!

I was 14 in 1980 so it should have been my decade in music, but it was rubbish. Much preferred 1970's or 1990's

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_singles_of_the_1980s_(UK)

Not much here I would listen to.

Everything was better in the 80's. Even today's recession isn't a patch on the 80's one :p
