The same as in the shops here unless you're flying outside the EU. ( I presume you mean in The Duty Free)

A carton of cigarettes contains 200 cigarettes, that's the smallest you can buy.

Currently a carton of cigarettes cost €39 if you're flying outside the EU. They're not for sale within the EU as the duty would mean they'd have to retail for around €92 a carton, depending on the brand. With the exception of the UK,everywhere else in the EU is cheaper than Ireland for cigarettes so there'd be little point in selling them duty paid.

    From the forum charter:
    Excise Duty
    EU Customs and excise site

How many can I bring in?*
From within the EU, as many as you want, but you may be asked to explain yourself if you have more than 800. The customs officers' decision on whether they believe your story or not is final.

You can only bring 200 into the EU from outside, regardless of whether you paid duty when you bought them or not.

The duty free allowance into the US is 200. You can purchase more,up to a maximum of 1000 per boarding card, but could be liable to a duty by US customs on anything over the 200,currently $10 per carton.

The Duty Free allowance into Ireland is also 200 and again you would be liable to duty on anything over 200 but also at a considerably higher rate than the US.
