    Couldn't find this answer in a thread,how much should a new timing belt plus pump cost and also to do the tracking on the same car a Peugeot 206 diesel,including labour.

    timing belt and pump 400 would bearound the usual price as for the tracking i would say 300ish not sure on tracking though never had it done

    You've never had tracking done? How long are you driving?


    @OP, tracking should be no more then €40 for your car, as for the timing belt, which diesel engine have you got?

    300 euro for tracking? More like 30 euro that's what it cost me last week it's not expensive to do.

    done tracking in more expensive cars so i wouldnt know what a 206 would cost

    I don't know the price of a timing belt kit and water pump off the top of my head but you shouldn't be looking at much more then €350 supplied and fitted.

    Cheers the wife got a quote of 500 and I knew it was suspect.
