Looks like that grinder has gone. There was an advert for an Iberital recently, well worth checking to see if available.

Grinder still there - I'm taking a look today so I assume he's taken it off until then. It's a Gaggia MD64. Anyone any experience with one of these?

The guy thats selling that just bought it a day or so ago from adverts. The reason I noticed is that he put an offer in for the coffee machine I bought, and I had to wait for him to collect it. I was hoping he wouldnt turn up and I would get it, which is exactly what happened.

He offered 400EUR for both the machine and the grinder. There is nothing wrong with someone buying something and then selling it for a profit, but just make sure its not being sold on because a problem has been discovered with it.

Hope it works out for you.

Just an update on this - we were both busy for a few days after and he was meant to get back to me, but hasn't. I did some measurements and not entirely sure it'd fit under our over counter cupboards, so not overly upset about it.

Saw the grinder you mentioned above Gran Hermano and really missed out there. I have an alert set up on Adverts, but not in the section that grinder was put up on unfortunately. Looks like it's time to rethink my alert strategy :p

I've lost my Hario hand grinder recently, so might just pick up another one in the meantime and keep an eye out.

Are you just grinding for espresso or looking for a grinder that would allow you to alternate frequently between espresso and other grind settings? If just for espresso the Iberital MC2 is
well worth looking at. It's a tad larger and louder than the newer more modern but more expensive
grinders. Several members on here have started out with it and at its price point is hard to beat.
It is not suited for switching frequently between espresso and other settings.

I'm not sure if they're still shipping to Ireland (rules change often)- if not parcel motel may be an option.

Cheers - I've been keeping it in the back of my mind all right but I still don't think I'm ready to spend nearly €200 on a grinder. Correct in that it'll be used for espresso only, but it'd be nice to be able to alternate to grind for press pot if needed (I know, I know, asking too much :)). Is it just the fact that they're stepless which makes it unsuitable? So it's moreso a huge pain to dial it in? Or is it something more sinister?
