    I heard that this was in the pipeline for Penal Warrants. A good move if you ask me, and would dramatically reduce the workload for those serving or arresting on foot of penal warrants.

    This has always been an option when it comes to recovering unpaid taxes.

    Why would this be anything to do with the gra ?, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of lads who want to do managements job for them.

    Because management no longer live on planet earth and haven't a clue what's going on. In my experience anyway.

    And the GRA should be pushing for something like this to free up members.

    Management do, what management do...your energies would be far better spent letting the govt/dept know gardai are not some soft touch who's permanent goodwill can be taken advantage of in some PR window dressing exercise.

    The more you give or do above and beyond, the more they think they can ride you......
