Hi im looking to get back doing a bit of cycling nothing to serious just a few spins around galway city and on a few ****ty roads.

Ive being looking at a few bikes mainly online but havent a clue whats good and whats rubbish. The last bike i owned was a raleigh activator and that was about 15 years ago :D.

I have about 300 max to spend. Im open to second hand as long as its decent quality. Brand doesnt matter either.

Ive been looking at EuroCycles and like the look of these.

    http://eurocycles.com/ie/product/raleigh/trail-xc-21dd

    http://eurocycles.com/ie/product/raleigh/resonator

    any opinions.

any links or suggestions would be great i know my budget isnt great but its abou all i can afford at the moment

I'd tend to go 2nd hand, both the bikes you linked look pretty horrible to me. Usual advice here is avoid suspension forks unless you're going mountain biking.
