    Hi

Can someone in the know give me advise about what kind of box I need please?
I currently have a Sky Subscription in my house. I'm looking to get rid of this and get the best setup I can for no monthly cost.
I would like to get Saorview, UK free channels, ability to record programs, series link - if possible.
So I think I need a Saorview aerial anyway, am I right? Can I use my Sky dish for the UK free channels?
Also, I would like to receive HD signals also.

Thanks for your help on this.
    Jondom

The Walker WP645TS-HD Saorview Combo and Triax TSC114 Saorview Combo Receiver are both Saorview approved and also do the UK FTA channels (only now & next programme info on the sat channels). I believe the Triax stores the Saorview and sat channels in the same epg (needs to be confirmed).

Both record to external Hard Drive via USB. No Saorview series link at the moment so not possible to confirm if it'll work with series link when it launches.

Sky dish will be ok for the FTA sat channels.

UHF aerial required for Saorview, the aerial group will depend on which transmitter you will use, see the Saorview coverage checker for the transmitter and frequency. This document (last page) has info on aerial groups.
