Suspended claim due to temporary FT work

Hi all, had a look through a few pages and couldn't see anything relevant. I had temporary full-time work for 5 weeks, so I informed my local welfare office, I was told my claim could be suspended for up to 8 weeks (I was on JSA), and I was just to provide them with dates of my departure & return, and sign on when I got back. Which I did.

I went in and signed back on two weeks ago. I was asked to write on a slip of paper, confirming that I was reactivating my suspended claim. I left my phone number and was told that I would receive a phone call when my claim was reactivated. I haven't received any form of communication since then, and it must be approaching the 8 week suspension limit. I was wondering if anyone had been in a similar position and if is this a normal waiting period?
