Vodafone to Vodafone free calls Ire to UK?

Hi, I want to know if I buy someone an Irish vodafone sim card. My irish vodafone to their Irish vodafone should be free calls. If I give this Irish vodafone sim card to someone in the UK on an unlocked phone will the calls still be free from Ireland to the uk?
