Driving Test tomorrow at 2PM

    So..

I have my driving test tomorrow at 14:05 at Rathgar.

Had a pretest today and did fine except for observations - not looking far enough into the road ahead. So I've been working on this all day.

The problem is I keep stalling. Which was never a problem before today. I've stalled at least 6 times already today on roads I've been down countless times. I think it may be the nerves starting to kick in :(

Any pointers on the best way to relax? Or any last minute tips?

Any specific moments that cause you to stall? hill start?

You won't fail if you stall the car, afaik, it's all about how you react to the stall. If you panic the tester will notice. If you're female/male with long hair, wear it in a high pony tail if you can as it'll move every time you look into one of the mirrors.

I asked an instructor today, he said you can fail by stalling, he said that for every stall you may get marked grade 2 in clutch controls, get stalled 4 times that's 4 grade 2 marks in one row, thats a fail he said.

Huh, mine told me you wouldn't. Definitely go with what yours said. I did my test a while ago.

Still not sure, maybe I heard what I wanted to hear :D but even then I wouldn't want to hear that

You wont get a grade 2 mark for every stall. I stalled once in my test couple of weeks ago and got one green mark because I recovered quickly. Presume if I did it a few times it would get upgraded to a grade 2.

I stalled on a hill start and decided I'd failed. I think I was so relaxed because I'd no hope I just got rid of the nerves. I passed anyway, although my instructor also told me stalling can be a fault in clutch control.
